You shouldn't allow money to ruin your relationship with "the other child" sibling. Family is what's matter and they will stick by you in the end. Maybe you can provide guidance to her/him since it sounds like he/her is much younger than you. LOL. True story, I convinced my little sister she was adopted until she was 13. My parents flat-out told her, "What? Of course we didn't get you via Fed-Ex!!" And I got in a lot of trouble. Btw, this realization was 5 years ago, so I'm still maturing... I love this post, but hate you for making me laugh “inappropriately” at work. LOL.
